MWFI Breaks Ground for New Bosch Diesel Service Center

ORLAND PARK, Ill., June 1 -- Midwest Fuel Injection Service on Friday, May 28, 2004th, 2004 broke ground on a 30,000 square foot Diesel Service Center in Bolingbrook, IL. In a mid-day ceremony on the 4-acre site, Bolingbrook Mayor Rodger Claar, city and county officials, and executives from Midwest Fuel Injection together broke ground on The Diesel Service Center located on the south side of I-55 just east of Weber Road (exit 263), which is scheduled to open in 2006. Also in attendance were representatives from Bosch, Principle Construction, & Harris Bank.

Midwest Fuel Injection (www.mwfi.com) has been in business for over 20 years, having been founded in 1981 in Orland Park, IL by Geret M. Seidel, currently CEO. MWFI is a factory authorized diesel fuel injection sales and service dealer, specializing in providing the highest level of quality sales and service on fuel injection pumps, injectors, turbochargers for both diesel and gasoline engines. They carry a large supply of new and rebuilt exchange pumps, injectors and turbochargers in stock and have a large parts inventory on hand to keep their customer's equipment downtime to a minimum.

In addition to the original location in Orland Park, Midwest also operates locations in Palatine, IL and owns a sister company, Metro Fuel Injection in (Agawam) Springfield, Massachusetts. Not only are they a strong supporter of the ADS/SAE TechCert certification program, employing many Certified & Master Technicians. Ben Seidel, President of Midwest Fuel Injection, is also on the Executive Board of Directors and serving his second term as Secretary for the Association of Diesel Specialists (www.diesel.org). MWFI & Metro combined have over 50 dedicated employees, all committed to providing the best possible service for their customers. Midwest Fuel Injection is also ISO9001:2000 certified at the Orland Park and Palatine locations (Certificate No. 00-R1431rev.1) and has been registered since November of 2000. According to Ben Seidel, implementing this program has not only separated them from the competition, but has also made Midwest Fuel Injection a more efficient and effectively run organization.

The expansion will allow Midwest Fuel Injection to relocate their headquarters to Bolingbrook, expand their diesel pump remanufacturing business, and also allow the space needed to develop Bosch's DSC program. This program allows drive -in and drive-to diagnostic service facilities to support "on-vehicle" repair of current and future Bosch diesel fuel injection systems. Such vehicles are already on the road, and are referred to as "Clean Diesels". These systems use extremely high injection pressures, electronic and computer technology which adds sophistication to the diagnostic and service needs of newer diesel vehicles.
