Blount Returns to Busch Series with New Team and New Sponsors; GlobalNet Corporation is new Telecom Sponsor

AVENTURA, Fla.--May 28, 2004--Chad Blount will make his return to the NASCAR Busch Series this weekend in a rather unique set of circumstances. He will pilot the #78 DODGE.

"I can't wait to get back behind the wheel this weekend," said Blount. "We had planned on running the ARCA race this week, but this great opportunity suddenly became available to me! It's also exciting to have this new Busch ride is part of a partnership with my old team at Braun Racing. Todd Braun and I have had some great success in racing and I think we can reproduce those achievements. I can't express my gratitude enough to all of the parties involved."

The team also welcomes aboard another important piece to this program -- the sponsor support needed to compete at the NASCAR level. The #78 DODGE will be jointly sponsored by iDialDirect (www.idialdirect.com) and IDT , two recognized telecommunications companies.

iDialDirect is one of the products offered by GlobalNet Corporation (OTCBB:GLBT) using Internet-based Voice-Over-Internet-Protocol (VOIP), as well as traditional telecom technologies, to provide high-quality, low-cost retail and wholesale telecommunication services.

"To come in as a new team and have the support of such respectable companies as iDialDirect and IDT is wonderful. We are taking this one race at a time and we want to show these companies how powerful a motorsports marketing program can be with our team. Ultimately, we want to make this into a multi-race program for both of these fine sponsors," remarked Braun.

The #78 iDialDirect.com DODGE will be headed up by crew chief Todd Lohse, who earlier this season served the same capacity for David Stremme and his #32 TRIMSPA X32 DODGE. The learning curve between driver and crew chief should be short as Lohse and Blount actually worked together for a few races late last season when Chad drove the #66 Miller High Life DODGE.

Blount, a native of Walkerton, Ind., will be making his 20th career start in the NASCAR Busch Series. He will also be making his 2nd Busch Series start at Lowe's and he has two other starts at the 1.5 mile track in the ARCA RE/MAX Series that netted a win and a 4th place finish.

Blount is entering the Lowe's Motor Speedway debuting the #78 iDialDirect.com DODGE in the running of the Carquest Auto Parts 300. The race will be televised live Saturday, May 29, 2004th at 12:30 p.m. eastern time on FOX and will broadcast nationally at that same time on radio stations affiliated with Motor Racing Network (MRN) and XM Satellite Radio Channel 144.
