Nissan Donates $20,000 to Children's Miracle Network

IRVING, Texas--May 2, 20048, 2004--Children in North Texas are getting help from Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation (NMAC) in the form of a donation made to the Children's Miracle Network (CMN). NMAC gave $20,000 to the organization that raises funds for local children at pediatric hospitals in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. The donation was made during a brief ceremony at the car maker's Nissan Dallas campus.

"If it weren't for the Children's Miracle Network and the great work they do in this community, many young people would go without the proper care and medical attention they desperately need," said Jeff Edwards, vice president of Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation, Nissan's finance division. "We want to make sure the children of North Texas continue getting the medical care they need and are glad to contribute to this great work."

NMAC's support of the Children's Miracle Network is part of Nissan's global commitment to "Enriching People's Lives" through charitable contributions, in-kind donations and other philanthropic investments. NMAC has been an ongoing supporter of Children's Miracle Network donating more than $100,000 since 1991.

"We truly appreciate the support we receive from Nissan," said Rachel Garton, director, Children's Miracle Network North Texas. "Their grassroots fund-raising efforts truly make a difference in the lives of North Texas children."
