M/A-COM Selected by Ford Motor Company to Provide Satellite Radio Antennas

- Latest Contract Extension Firmly Establishes M/A-COM as the Industry's Preferred Satellite Antenna Supplier -

LOWELL, Mass., May 27 -- M/A-COM, a business unit of Tyco Electronics and a leading provider of wireless Radio Frequency (RF) and microwave components, today announced a new multi-year agreement with Ford Motor Company to provide satellite radio antennas across various vehicle lines. In addition, as part of the agreement, M/A-COM will extend its previous agreement, announced in October, to provide GPS navigation antennas for leading-edge navigation systems. With this contract, M/A-COM continues to establish itself as a world leader in antenna technology for the automotive industry.
