Autosport Development #5 GMAC Commercial Finance/Trenton Forging
GTO Ready For Lime Rock Park

Detroit - May 27 2004: Following the long break after the season
opener at Sebring, Autosport Development is ready to put the #5 GMAC
Commercial Finance/Trenton Forging Pontiac GTO through its paces as the
SPEED World Challenge GT Series descends on Lime Rock Park this
Memorial Day weekend for round two.

“The crew has been hard at work since Sebring,” said driver, Stu
Hayner. “After Sebring we came away with a lot of knowledge and had a
pretty good list of things we wanted to get done. We put the car on a
diet and beefed up the drive train and suspension. We knew the car had
weak spots and focused on making it bullet proof.”

“Earlier in the week we were able to get some testing in,” Hayner
continued. “While it’s hard to gauge what the performance is like
running by yourself, I can speak volumes for the car’s handling and
power. It felt great. The car corners nice a flat and really sticks…
and the power of the corner felt has strong if not stronger than a
Trans-Am car. Like I said, without someone next to you it’s hard to
know exactly what kind of power you have. But knowing what I know about
getting around Lime Rock, I’m really looking forward to the weekend.
From the driver’s seat, this is a completely different car than I had
in Sebring.”

Hayner, a former front-runner in Trans-Am made the switch to SPEED
World Challenge GT Series for 2004.

“The SPEED World Challenge Series is without a doubt the best sports
car racing in the US.” Hayner pointed out. Considering the other road
racing options, we felt this is the best series to grow our new program
and get the most exposure for our partners.”

I’m also very encouraged with the Series’ schedule and its recent
alignment with the American LeMans Series,” Hayner added. “I think
they’ve selected excellent venues in strong motorsports markets. The
rules appear structured to provide parity and close racing. They’ve got
good competition and strong participation. That’s better for us and
better for the fans. This is the place to be.”

The SPEED World Challenge GT Series race will run at Lime Rock Park on
Monday, May 31 and air on SPEED Sunday, June 6 at 1pm EST.
