Note to Editors: You may not be aware that NASCAR, a former sponsor of the RPM Promoters Workshops, who specifically asked
RPM to find alternative sponsorship to replace their support, recently announced that they would produce a series of short track
promoters meetings next December and February, on the long-established RPM Promoters Workshops dates.  They announced these
meetings in a mailing to all promoters and sanctioning bodies, but so far, as far as we are aware, have not made a general
announcement to the press.  As a service to all involved, RPM has changed its meeting dates to avoid unnecessary conflict and
inconvenience to all concerned.  (See release that follows)

Thank you,
Stewart Doty

(RPM WORKSHOPS ANNOUNCES REVISED SCHEDULE) (For immediate release)

(Green Lake, WI, May 28, 2004)  The Speedweek 2005 RPM Promoters Workshop moves to a new location next February, and the
date of the December Western National RPM Promoters Workshop in Reno is changed.

The annual Speedweek promoters gathering, in its 32nd year, will convene Thursday through Saturday, February 10-12, 2005, at the
Marriott Orlando Lake Mary, a new convention hotel between Orlando and Daytona Beach on Interstate 4.  The annual Reno gathering
for promoters, at the Eldorado Hotel Casino, will be held December 2-4, 2004, a week earlier than the previously announced date. The
new dates better serve promoters, sanctioning groups and commercial registrants by eliminating the conflict with other recently
announced events, scheduled on top of RPM's traditional Workshop dates.

The RPM Promoters Workshops have been built with the voluntary contribution and expertise of promoters who gather to share ideas
with colleagues and nurture new promoters.  For more than three decades, the RPM Promoters Workshops have urged promoters and
sanctioning groups to avoid scheduling on each others' dates.  In this tradition, RPM made these Workshops date changes in the
interest of promoters, sponsors, suppliers that have loyally supported the Workshops throughout their 31 years.

RPM Workshops Chairman Stewart Doty added, The drive from the Marriott Lake Mary to local short tracks is the same distance as
from Daytona-area beach hotels, and the Marriott is a four-star hotel eager to make promoters welcome. The Marriott Lake Mary is
closer to Orlando attractions, as well. The Eldorado Hotel Casino made possible our Reno date change to accommodate trade show
participants, eliminating the overlap created when the annual PRI trade show date changed.  Promoters and vendors now do not have
to choose and are free to attend all the important off season events without conflict."

Each year, promoters look forward to the tradition of the 32-year-old RPM Promoters Workshops, produced by Racing Promotion
Monthly, and to selecting the Auto Racing Promoter of the Year.  The meetings, which welcome independent promoters and promoters
of every affiliation, have always offered promoters a valuable non-political open forum to exchange information and ideas.

Workshop details will be published in upcoming issues of Racing Promotion Monthly. For those wishing to mark their calendars, the
dates are:

December 2-4, 2004 - Reno Workshop
February 10-12 - Speedweek Workshop

The RPM Promoters Workshops are produced by Racing Promotion Monthly, the idea newsletter for auto racing promoters.  The
newsletter and conventions are sponsored as a service to promoters by K&K Insurance Group, Inc., Hoosier Racing Tire, and ASA
Racing.  Information about a subscription to RPM, or registration for the RPM Promoters Workshops, is available from the editorial
offices of Racing Promotion Monthly at P.O. Box 427, Green Lake, WI  54941, by calling 920-294-0830 or on the Web at
