"I think Team 7-Eleven is ready. You'll never feel like you're quite there, but we've got
plenty of information. Now we just need to sit down and analyze it with a clear head. It's been a
stressful 10 days for everybody and we all need a rest. But, I'm happy. It's been a great team
effort. Everybody at AGR has done a great job and so has everyone at Honda. We feel we're
ready. I guess it's almost show-time."
Tony Kanaan Facts
Kanaan will not run again in the Team 7-Eleven Honda-powered Dallara until Thursday's
Carburetion Day practice.
Kanaan qualified fifth during Indianapolis 500 Pole Day qualifications last Saturday.
Kanaan enters the Indy 500 ranked second in the IndyCar Series point standings after
three events, trailing AGR teammate and Klein Tools/Jim Beam driver Dan Wheldon, 123-
117.
Kim Green, President, Andretti Green Racing
"We ended up about a day late with our program. We were hoping to be done Friday, but
Bryan's rear suspension failure put us behind on a few things that the drivers wanted to try. But,
we feel comfortable that we've got good race cars and now we'll move on to preparing the
primary cars. Everyone has worked so well together this month; hats off to everybody at AGR
for really putting a solid month together so far."
