Dresser Wayne Installs 1400th Nucleus Point-of-Sale System for ExxonMobil; Stations Now Feature Advanced Point of Sale Technology

AUSTIN, Texas--May 1, 20049, 2004--Dresser Wayne, a business unit of Dresser, Inc., today announced the installation of the 1400th Nucleus(R) point-of-sale (POS) system at ExxonMobil company-owned and distributor retail operations in the United States. ExxonMobil chose Dresser Wayne in early 2002 to provide their retailers at up to 1,600 stores with a scalable POS platform that provides enhanced store functionality. Today, Exxon and Mobil branded stations around the U.S. have a point-of-sale system that will carry them into the next decade. All sites feature the latest POS technology and enable integrated scanning, card payment indoors and outdoors, upstream communications and complete site management. In addition to the hardware and software supplied with the POS system, Dresser Wayne has provided ExxonMobil systems integration, rollout management, implementation services, 24/7 help-desk and after-sale onsite support.
