Dario Franchitti, #27 ArcaEx Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"We made progress today, but it was a different kind of progress. Today was more about
qualifying than anything. That's why we were quicker on the speed charts. But, I was probably happier at
the end of yesterday with the way the car was in race trim. We've still got a bit of work to do with the
qualifying car. We've hopefully got tomorrow, weather permitting, and we'll try to get the ArcaEx car
absolutely 'spot on' for Saturday."

Dario Franchitti Facts
Rain showers delayed the start of practice today by nearly four hours.
Franchitti's speed on Thursday (219.999 mph) was his best mark of the week since practice
       opened at IMS on Sunday.
Indianapolis marks Franchitti's eighth IndyCar Series start and second start in the Indianapolis 500.
In his only other Indy 500 start (2002), Franchitti qualified 28th and finished 19th.

Allen McDonald, Race Engineer, #27 ArcaEx Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"Obviously, we lost some time today because of the weather, but we had a good day with the
ArcaEx car. We were relying heavily on the qualifying setups that Tony and Dan had given us over the
last couple days and it really worked out pretty well. It was our first really big effort at the qualifying car
and I think we're pretty happy. I know we'd like to find some more speed and we'll make sure we do that
tomorrow."
