Visteon Names Jim Ryan Director, North America Aftermarket Sales

LIVONIA, Mich., May 13, 2004 -- Visteon Corporation has appointed Jim Ryan director of North America Aftermarket Sales. Ryan will be responsible for the growth and development of Visteon's North American Aftermarket Underhood Parts business. Ryan will report to Greg Gyllstrom, Visteon vice president and general manager of North American and Asian Aftermarket Operations and will be based in Livonia, Michigan.

Visteon's Aftermarket underhood parts include products ranging from air conditioning and heat transfer to starters and alternators. "Jim's sales experience and extensive knowledge of the aftermarket industry make him a valuable resource to the team," Gyllstrom said. "We are solidifying our brand and introducing new products to the automotive aftermarket. Jim's experience in new product launches and program development will be key in our future development."

Ryan recently served as vice president of sales, specialty product groups of Dana Corporation. Dana is an automotive supplier specializing in aftermarket brakes, chassis components and filters marketed under the Raybestos, Spicer and Wix brands, respectively. During his 22-year tenure with Dana, Ryan held various sales positions including vice president of sales, NAPA Underhood Group, and national sales manager.

Ryan holds a bachelor's degree from Franklin University, Columbus, Ohio.
