Jacobs Receives Contract from Clemson University
PASADENA, Calif.--May 1, 20043, 2004--Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. announced today that they received a contract from Clemson University to provide program management services for Clemson's automotive engineering research and education campus in Greenville, S.C.Officials did not disclose the contract value.
Upon full development, the 400-acre International Center for Automotive Research will include a new graduate engineering center, state-of-the-art research and development facilities, and private industry research and development operations to support the region's growing automotive industry.
In making the announcement, Jacobs Group Vice President Pete Evans stated, "We are pleased to be a part of this cooperative effort between Clemson University, the state of South Carolina, and the automotive and motorsports industries. We are committed to the success of this project and look forward to servicing the long-term growth needs of these industries in this area."
