          "It was a good day for the XM Satellite Radio team.  We wanted to get some
good running in the heat of the day because it looks like the temperatures may cool off in
the next two days.  We made some good gains again today and it feels like we've been
here for two weeks already."

       Herta ran all 57 laps today in the #7T XM Satellite Radio Dallara/Honda/Firestone
       Herta made his first major open-wheel start at the 1994 Indianapolis 500, starting
       22nd and finishing ninth.
       Herta has one Indy Racing LeagueŽ IndyCarŽ Series win, coming at Kansas on
       July 6th last year in only his third IndyCar Series start.
       In his only other start at Indy, Herta started 33rd and finished 13th in 1995.
