Dan Wheldon, #26 Klein Tools/Jim Beam Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"It was an okay day for us.  It is still early, but it is getting to the time when you need to kind of
perfect your balance and we're still not there yet.  There's no need to panic though because we are still
running pretty quick in the Klein Tools/Jim Beam car.  Certainly the competition for the pole is going to be
tough and we'll need to step up our game, but I know the boys at Andretti Green Racing are up to it."

Dan Wheldon Facts
Wheldon is the current Indy Racing LeagueŽ IndyCarŽ Series points leader with 123 points placing
him ahead of his Andretti Green teammate Tony Kanaan with 117.
Wheldon is the IndyCar Series' most recent winner, claiming his first IndyCar Series victory at the
Bridgestone Indy Japan 300 on April 17.
Wheldon has also claimed the last two IndyCar Series pole positions, earning the top starting spot at
       Phoenix and Japan.
Wheldon started fifth and finished 19th in last year's Indianapolis 500.

Tony Cotman, Team Manager, #26 Klein Tools/Jim Beam Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"We tried a lot of different things today.  All in all I think we made a little bit of ground on the
Klein Tools/Jim Beam car, but we still have some work to do.  I don't think it is the amount of laps you run
here; it is the quality of the laps you run.  We still have plenty of time until 'Pole Day' and I feel that our
program is right on schedule."
