ARKONA Integration with Mazda Announced

SALT LAKE CITY--May 1, 20041, 2004--ARKONA Inc. (OTCBB: ARKN), the emerging leader in dealer management solutions for automobile and powersports dealerships, announces its integration with Mazda North America Operations. This new integration provides the more than 700 Mazda dealerships with significant time savings and a more cost-effective alternative to managing and exchanging information with Mazda corporate.

As with all previously announced manufacturer communications interfaces, ARKONA's solution is designed so that data is only entered once from any data entry screen and is shared throughout all applications. Mazda dealers can now receive and send data using Mazda's specified communications interface. Listed below are highlights of the capabilities Mazda dealers now have with their ARKONA dealer management system:

-- Warranty Claim Entry

-- Parts Return

-- Parts Ordering -- Including 2nd Day, Customer Service, Stock

-- Financial Statement

"We made a decision to go with ARKONA over two years ago and have been very satisfied with the performance and reliability," said Rob Meyer, general manager, D. Dahle Mazda, Salt Lake City. "With the addition of Mazda integration, the ARKONA system will be an even stronger tool each day for our employees. I am impressed that ARKONA's dealer management system continues to evolve with more capabilities, yet all I'm required to pay is the same reasonable monthly fee. ARKONA provides tangible value to my business."

Mazda and ARKONA have been working on this integration for months to ensure that data is accurately transferred to and from Mazda's corporate systems. Dealers now have immediate access and current information about their parts, accounting, and service business through the ARKONA solution.

"ARKONA's software is now widely accepted as leading-edge technology and one of the most comprehensive dealer management solutions available. The new integration provides improved access to information and streamlines the flow of dealer data to the manufacturer," stated Rich Holland, president, ARKONA. "We are pleased to offer this new integration capability to our existing Mazda clients and see this as another plus point as we market and sell to prospective Mazda dealers nationwide."

ARKONA continues to experience strong demand for its Internet-based dealer management system, in large part, due to its ability to seamlessly integrate with major automobile manufacturers including BMW, Daimler-Chrysler, Ford, GM, Honda, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Lincoln-Mercury, Acura and Suzuki.
