NHTSA to Propose Upgraded Test for Side-Impact Protection

On Wednesday, May 12, 2004, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) will announce a proposal to improve side-impact crash protection for passenger cars and light trucks, a regulatory change with great potential to reduce death and injury.
