Toyota to Award Free Gas for a Year in May Sweepstakes

TORRANCE, Calif., May 7 -- Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc. today announced its "Get Set for Summer Service Sweepstakes," which commenced May 1 and runs through May 28, 2004th. The promotion welcomes Toyota owners to a broad network of dealerships for special service offers and for a chance to win 12 grand prizes of free gas for a year and 1,000 gas cards redeemable for $50 of gas.

"The sweepstakes provides an incentive for new Toyota customers to experience competitively priced, quality service at a Toyota dealership," said Dave Camden, Toyota vice president, dealer operations. "Also, it affords Toyota an opportunity to thank its regular service customers for their business."

Initiated by Toyota's Parts and Service division and backed by a national radio campaign, the sweepstakes' promotional materials appear on the Internet and in direct-mail ads. Consumers are encouraged to prepare their vehicles for the summer by locating their nearest participating Toyota dealer and downloading service coupons at www.toyota.com/owners.
