Telematics firm expands member-discount program for hotels, restaurants nationwide

PONTIAC, Mich., May 6 -- Aftermarket telematics supplier GPSi today announced it has significantly expanded its member-discount benefit program for subscribers to its Guidepoint(TM) vehicle telematics service.

The Pontiac, Mich.-based provider of telematics systems and services to North American automotive dealers said it has reached an agreement with Salt Lake City, Utah-based Access Development, a leading provider of private-label travel and leisure benefits.

The agreement will allow Guidepoint members to access savings of up to 50% at thousands of hotels, restaurants and shops nationwide -- and in the neighborhoods where they are driving. Guidepoint members will also be able to save on car rentals, oil changes, and routine vehicle maintenance tasks through the program.
