Hyundai Sales for April Set New Record
FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., May 3, 2004 -- Hyundai Motor America today announced sales of 35,045 vehicles for the month of April, which represented the best April sales in company history. The Hyundai Sonata, named the highest Quality entry in the midsize car in the coveted J.D. Power and Associates Initial Quality Study, lead sales in April followed by the Hyundai Elantra and the popular Santa Fe sport utility vehicle.

"Sonata is representative of the winning combination of high quality and high value that consumers are looking for today."
