Chrome's New Vehicle Data Enhances APPRO Systems' Consumer Credit Evaluation System
PORTLAND, Ore.--May 3, 2004--Integrating Vehicle Data into LoanCenter Consumer Enables Loan Officers to Make Quicker and More Accurate Vehicle Loan Decisions |
Chrome Systems Corp., a provider of automotive data, configuration technology and commerce solutions, has announced that Baton Rouge, La.-based APPRO Systems, Inc., the leading provider of automated credit risk management and financial technologies for the lending industry, will include Chrome's new vehicle pricing and specification content in LoanCenter Consumer(TM), APPRO's consumer loan automation and credit evaluation system.
The integration of Chrome's vehicle data into LoanCenter Consumer enables loan officers to access Chrome's new vehicle information from within APPRO's system, enabling quicker processing of loan applications and decisions. The addition of Chrome's data streamlines the loan process, as well as eliminates the occurrence of manual data entry errors. The result is increased efficiency and minimized risk by ensuring vehicle loans are based on the most accurate, objective and detailed vehicle prices and descriptions.
APPRO will incorporate Chrome's new vehicle data, which is updated daily, and Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) search products into LoanCenter Consumer. Chrome's vehicle data product offers complete information on more than 50 different vehicle manufacturers and car models, including several exotic models. Chrome's VIN search product provides information necessary to identify a vehicle or a small group of vehicles for any given 1987 or later VINs.
"For our clients that provide financing for vehicle loans, the integration of Chrome information into LoanCenter Consumer represents a significant step toward making the loan decision process as quick and error-free as possible," said Steve Uffman, CEO of APPRO Systems, Inc. "With the combined functionality of APPRO's loan decisioning capabilities and Chrome's current vehicle data, loan officers will be in a position to make more efficient and accurate decisions for their borrowers."
An additional benefit of the interface for lenders, consumers and dealers alike, is the consistency of the vehicle data used across multiple channels. Chrome's data powers thousands of applications used by automotive professionals and consumers every day to research, price and order vehicles.
"Chrome is proud to help fuel the rapid increase in Internet-based vehicle loan processing," said Dave Mingle, president of Chrome Corp. "Using our vehicle data to make loan decisioning more efficient and effective is another example of the value of accurate data. When you're moving loans at the speed of the Internet, it's crucial to have accurate facts at your fingertips."
