Harley-Davidson recalls 1,534 bikes
TOKYO May 1, 2004; Japan Today reported that the Japanese unit of U.S. motorcycle maker Harley-Davidson Inc said Friday it will recall 1,534 motorcycles for free repair of defective parts.
Subject to the recall are FLHTCUI Ultra Classic Electra Glide, FLHTCUI S/C Ultra Classic Electra Glide Sidecar and FLHPEI Road King Police models, which were imported between August 2000 and August last year, Harley-Davidson Japan KK said in a report filed with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.
