Jaguar and Land Rover North America Announce Executive Appointments
IRVINE, Calif., April 29 -- Jaguar and Land Rover North America today announced a series of executive appointments.
"We are making adjustments in our senior leadership in order to provide greater brand focus in the planning and execution of marketing and sales activities as well as to better align our US organization with operations in the UK," said Mike O'Driscoll, president of Aston Martin Jaguar Land Rover North America. "We continuously pursue efficiencies to improve operating margins and business performance for the organization and the dealer networks."
The Jaguar and Land Rover marques will now each have a dedicated executive vice president responsible for Marketing, Sales and Communications. Reporting into each executive vice president will be the vice president of Marketing, vice president of Retail Operations, and director of Communications.
The new appointments, effective May 17, 2004 include:
Connell (C.J.) O'Donnell to executive vice president, Marketing and Sales, Jaguar. O'Donnell returns to Ford Motor Company from Biscontini Distribution Centers, a warehousing and logistics company in Kingston, PA, where he held the position of chief operating officer. During his 12 year tenure with Ford, O'Donnell held numerous positions in the areas of retail, marketing, product planning and strategy. Prior to leaving Ford he was the general manager of Worldwide Sales and Production Planning for Mazda Motor Corporation in Hiroshima, Japan. O'Donnell will report to O'Driscoll.
Richard Beattie to executive vice president, Marketing and Sales, Land Rover. Previous to this position Beattie was the executive vice president for Jaguar and Land Rover. Beattie will continue to report to O'Driscoll.
Mark Scarpato to vice president, Retail Operations, Jaguar. Scarpato most recently held the position of vice president, Franchise Operations, Jaguar Land Rover. He will report to O'Donnell, along with George Ayres, vice president of Marketing, and James Thomas, director of Communications for Jaguar.
Pat Ward to vice president, Retail Operations, Land Rover. Ward was recently remarketing manager for Jaguar Land Rover. He will report to Beattie, along with Sally Eastwood, vice president of Marketing, and Larry Rosinski, director of Communications for Land Rover.
Anastasios (Tassos) Panas to vice president, Franchise Operations, Jaguar Land Rover. Panas was most recently the Southern Regional Manager for Jaguar and Land Rover. He will report to O'Driscoll.
With today's changes, executives reporting to Mike O'Driscoll are: O'Donnell; Beattie; Panas; Vice President and General Manager of Aston Martin, John Walton; Vice President of Customer Service, Gary Temple; Vice President of Finance, David Smart; President of Aston Martin Jaguar Land Rover Canada, Vic Bernardini; President of Aston Martin Jaguar Land Rover Mexico, Marcello Leite.
