Best Western Revs Up Speed Rewards(TM) Loyalty Program With Summer Sweepstakes
New Members Earn Chance to Win VIP Trip to 2004 Checker Auto Parts 500
PHOENIX, April 28 -- Best Western, the Official Hotel of NASCAR, is off to the races, introducing a special summer sweepstakes for new members of its recently launched Speed Rewards(TM) frequent guest program.

Individuals who join Speed Rewards between May 1 and July 31 will be automatically entered to win a trip to the Checker Auto Parts 500 at Phoenix International Raceway on November 7, 2004. The VIP package for two includes roundtrip airfare, Best Western hotel accommodations, race tickets, garage and pit tours, as well as the opportunity to meet two-time Daytona 500 winner Michael Waltrip.

Additional entries can also be earned with stays at any participating Best Western hotel through the end of July. Guests with one stay receive a second sweepstakes entry, along with a free trial subscription to NASCAR Scene magazine. Two stays qualify patrons for a third entry and an extra 500 Speed Rewards bonus points. Those customers with three stays by the end of July receive both a fourth contest entry and an additional 500 bonus points.
Designed specifically for race fans, Speed Rewards is an extension of Best Western's already successful Gold Crown Club International (GCCI) loyalty program. Launched in March 2004, it allows members to earn valuable points which are redeemable for NASCAR-themed racing merchandise such as jackets and caps; Best Western Global Free Room Nights; dining and shopping -- in addition to special sweepstakes and promotional offerings.
