The EPA Approves Second EnerTeck Corporation Diesel Fuel Additive Product

STAFFORD, Texas, April 27 -- EnerTeck Corporation (BULLETIN BOARD: ETCK) (the "Company") announced today that on March 30, 2004, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency ("EPA") approved the registration of the Company's second diesel engine treatment and fuel additive product known as EnerBurn EC5931A. The EPA registration permits this additional product to be used in vehicles that are operated "over-the- highway", enhancing EnerBurn's value proposition for the trucking and bus industries.

EnerBurn EC5931A opens up a new market for the Company, that of high volume commercial truck stop operators and owners. The introduction of EC5931A was necessitated by requests from truck stop operators and owners as it affords an economically feasible option for large quantity purchasers, reduces storage requirements and enhances brand loyalty.

Dwaine Reese, the Company's Chairman said, "the availability of EC5931A for over-the road applications is significant for two reasons. Firstly, our trucking and bus customers will benefit from its use both economically and from a convenience standpoint. Secondly, its availability for such use appreciably expands our potential customer base and enhances the value proposition of EnerBurn in diesel pump islands at highway truck stops."

About EnerTeck Chemical Corporation

EnerTeck Chemical Corp. is the wholly owned, operating subsidiary of EnerTeck Corporation, a Company focused on the development and/or acquisition of combustion enhancement, emission reduction, and other environmentally friendly energy technologies. EnerTeck's diesel fuel specific combustion catalysts, EnerBurn and EC5931A form a non-hazardous nano-catalyst surface on the diesel combustion chamber and piston heads. This catalyst lowers the combustion temperature of carbon and accelerates oxidation, which enhances the burn rate of diesel fuel in engines. Current users of EnerBurn experience increased fuel economy of between 8-15%, reduced engine wear of 30-50%, and increased brake horsepower of approximately 4%. EnerBurn's verifiable impact on the environment includes decreased highway smoke of 25-70% and reduced NOx emissions of 10-20%. This technology was originally introduced commercially by Nalco/Exxon Energy Chemicals, L.P., a joint venture between Nalco Chemical Corporation and Exxon Corporation.
