IDS Scheer and Intalio Deliver Process Automation and Real-Time Business Process Intelligence
MIAMI--April 27, 2004--Companies Expand Partnership to More Tightly Integrate Solutions to Embrace BPM Standards |
IDS Scheer North America, the leading provider of business process excellence services and tools, today announced at the ProcessWorld 2004 conference that it has expanded its partnership with Intalio, Inc. because of the company's innovation in enterprise-class Business Process Automation. The companies have agreed to further integrate IDS Scheer's market-leading ARIS Toolset with Intalio|n3, the standards-based and platform-neutral Business Process Management System (BPMS). Tighter integration of the two solutions will enable both companies to better serve customer demand by embracing BPM standards such as BPMN (Business Process Modeling Notation) and BPEL (Business Process Execution Language), as well as offering a real-time Business Process Intelligence Solution.
"As new standards in business process management are embraced, Intalio and IDS Scheer will collaborate to ensure that our respective solutions reflect the new modeling languages," said Ismael Ghalimi, founder and Chief Strategy Officer of Intalio. "We have made it much easier for ARIS Process Platform customers to connect together process models with the Intalio|n3 Designer, bind them to third-party systems and web services, and then deploy them onto the Intalio|n3 Server."
Intalio will be demonstrating robust process information exchange using the joint ARIS/Intalio|n3 interface at ProcessWorld 2004 (kiosk #5). This three-day event, April 25-28 in Miami, brings together business process experts from around the world to discuss business process innovation. The conference provides a forum for decision makers, technical strategists and business process improvement executives to learn, understand and collaborate on effective business process management.
"Our previous integration with Intalio had been guided by support for BPML (Business Process Modeling Language)," said Dr. Mathias Kirchmer, CEO, IDS Scheer North America. "Moving forward, our integration efforts will include support for BPMN (Business Process Modeling Notation) and for BPEL (Business Process Execution Language)."
According to Dr. Kirchmer, this partnership will also extend into the growing area of business intelligence (BI). "We will also work with Intalio to integrate the ARIS Process Cost Analyzer and the ARIS Process Performance Manager into the Intalio|n3 Server to deliver a real-time Business Process Intelligence solution."
