NewTech Brake Corp. Announces the Appointment of a New Board Member

BLAINVILLE, QUEBEC, April 27 -- Mr. Yvon Rancourt, Chairman of NewTech Brake Corp. (OTC BB: NWTB), is pleased to announce that Mr. Francois Houle, has accepted an appointment to the NewTech Brake Corp. Board of Directors on Monday, April 26, 2004.

Mr. Yvon Rancourt stated: "We are very pleased that Mr. Houle has accepted to join our Board. His 28 years experience in the transportation business will bring great insight to the company. We look forward to working with him."
