Craig Malone Joins XTREMEX3 as CTO and SVP Product Development

CHANTILLY, Va., April 27 -- XTREMEX3 announced today that Craig Malone has joined the management team as Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President of Product Development. Craig will lead the company's product development and technology development initiatives and teams.

Craig Malone brings over 18 years of product development experience from both the defense and commercial electronics industries. Craig is responsible for XTREMEX3's product development function and leads the evolution of the company's technical strategy for product innovation and differentiation.

Craig joined XTREMEX3 from Philips Consumer Electronics where he was the Vice President, Business Development, of a strategic initiative to develop consumer solutions for providing wireless multi-media distribution of high speed internet content within the home. Prior to Philips Consumer Electronics, Craig served as Vice President, Engineering, for Philips Broadband Networks where he lead all global research and development activities with an international team of professionals in the United States, France, and the Netherlands. Craig championed the design, development, and complete life-cycle management of Philips' broadband network solutions.

Prior to joining Philips, Craig worked at Raytheon Company in a variety of leadership roles developing RF and opto-electronic technologies. While with Raytheon, Craig served as a Sr. Engineering Manager on a major defense acquisition program with responsibility for the technical management of the engineering team and providing technical leadership to major subcontractors in the development of hardware and software.

Craig holds a B.S. in Physics from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and a M.S. in Physics from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
