WHAT:
A rare sighting of the all-new 2005 Ford Mustang highlights the Los Angeles stop of the 10,000-mile, round-the-country, Great American Pony Tour II, Friday, April 30, and Saturday, May 1. View 40 years of automotive history "on the hoof" from club members' 1965 Mustangs to the all-new 2005 model, hosted by Ford group vice president Anne Stevens, the highest ranking woman executive at Ford Motor Company.
The Mustang, which has starred in numerous Hollywood movies and popular songs, is a cultural icon in every sense of the word. The Pony Tour II, featuring Mustang fanatics from America, Great Britain, Switzerland, Australia and New Zealand, is a grassroots celebration of the original pony car's 40th anniversary.
There are three great chances to see the Pony Tour II participants and the 2005 Ford Mustang:
* Friday morning, April 30, at the Peterson Automotive Museum (7 - noon)
* Friday evening, April 30 at Sunset Ford in Westminster, CA - hundreds of cars at a classic car show from 4 - 8 p.m.
* Saturday morning, May 1 at Village Coffee Roaster, Woodland Hills, CA - hundreds of Mustangs in a classic Mustang show - 9 a.m. - noon
