Sunoco's Team Ultra 94 hits Mosport!
New team members Juliana Chiovitti, Jamie Holtom and Frank Launi fast at
Mosport

MOSPORT, ONTARIO - New Sunoco Team Ultra 94 members Juliana Chiovitti,
Jamie Holtom and Frank Launi spent two days last week in the Bridgestone
Racing Academy's F2000 single seat racers that they will contest in
Bridgestone/ Formula Car Magazine F2000 Series this year.

It was an action packed two days as all the drivers tried various cars
under the watchful eye of Ugo Provencher, chief instructor for the
Bridgestone Academy. "This year's drivers are very fast, it should be an
exciting year for them and us," Provencher said.

On the first day, Launi and Chiovitti were the fastest of the group, with
Holtom nipping at their heels. "I just tried to learn the line today,"
Chiovitti said after the morning session.

One of the more exiting laps came from Launi, who lost all the rear
bodywork off his Reynard F2000 racer on the back section of the track. "It
just blew off," Launi said. "I came in and looked at the car and it had
nothing from the driver's compartment back!"

On the second day of the two-day session, all three drivers picked up the
pace as they became familiar with their cars. "Today was way better than
yesterday," Holtom said. "I am getting more comfortable each session."

The first race weekend will take place on June 4-6, and all three of the
new drivers are looking forward to getting their season underway.
