Nextel and NASCAR Provide Entertainment at Fiesta Broadway;
NASCAR simulator ride, NASCAR drivers and stock car at event
WHAT:
Nextel's Mini Experience, an interactive fan experience featuring
full-motion racing simulators, will be on site at Fiesta Broadway for
visitors to enjoy. The simulator ride allows visitors to race each
other inside a NASCAR stock car, with picture screens and speakers
giving riders the full experience of being on the race track.
Two Spanish-speaking NASCAR drivers from Mexico will be on site to
sign autographs and take pictures with fans:
-- Jose Luis Ramirez, driver in the NASCAR Grand National Division
West Series
-- Jesus Hernandez, driver in the NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series
No. 0 NetZero HiSpeed Chevrolet show car will be on display.

300 on May 1 and the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series Auto Club 500 on May 2
at California Speedway. There will also be opportunities to win

WHERE:
The Nextel Pavillion will be at the corner of 5th Street and Broadway
in downtown Los Angeles. The event will continue down Broadway towards
4th Street.
WHY:
Nextel and NASCAR will bring the excitement of NASCAR to the Southern
California Hispanic community in anticipation of the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup
Series Auto Club 500 in Fontana. Nextel and NASCAR celebrate diversity
and Hispanic heritages at Fiesta Broadway by offering visitors the
opportunity to experience the thrill of NASCAR through the Mini
Experience, meeting Hispanic NASCAR drivers and getting an up-close
view of a NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series stock car.
