Ford: WEEKLY NORTH AMERICAN PRODUCTION REPORT - WEEK ENDING APRIL 18, 2004

DEARBORN, Mich., April 22 - Ford Motor Company's North American vehicle production for the week ending April 18 is summarized below:

The following U.S. and Canadian assembly plants are working overtime this week: Dearborn (Ford Mustang), Kansas City SUV (Ford Escape and Mazda Tribute), Kansas City Truck (Ford F-Series), Lorain (Ford Econoline), Michigan Truck (Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator), Norfolk (Ford F-Series), and Ohio Assembly (Ford Escape). In addition, Saturday overtime is scheduled at Kansas City Truck on April 24.

Next week (April 26), all North American assembly plants will be operating except Chicago, which is undergoing facilities changes prior to the launch of the all-new Ford Five Hundred, Ford Freestyle and Mercury Montego.
