Chrysler Group Donates '300C-Note' to Orange County's Discovery Science Center in Conjunction with Chrysler Brand 'Premiere Night/Days' Celebration

$30,000 donation to fund educational outreach programs

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., and ORANGE COUNTY, Calif., April 22 -- Playing off the name of its newest vehicles -- the Chrysler 300C -- the Chrysler Group is donating a "300C-Note" -- or $30,000 -- to Discovery Science Center of Orange County as part of the Chrysler brand's "Premiere Night/Days" celebration. The money will be used to sponsor educational outreach programs, including school field trips.

The check will be presented on April 22 at 6:30 p.m. during "Premiere Night" festivities at Foothill Ranch Chrysler/Jeep(R)/Dodge, located at 81 Auto Center Drive in Lake Forest. Tom LaSorda, Chief Operating Officer from the Company's headquarters in Auburn Hills Mich., will be on hand to make the presentation.

The Chrysler 300C is one of the stars of the Hollywood-style "Premiere Night/Days" event, which celebrates the biggest product offensive in Chrysler group history. The Chrysler brand is hosting the first of three branded events on April 22 to provide consumers with a "sneak preview" of the new line of Chrysler Vehicles, some on display at dealerships even before they become widely available. Among the other vehicles that will be on display are the Chrysler Town & Country with Stow N' Go(TM) seating and storage system, Chrysler PT Cruiser Convertible and Chrysler Pacifica.

"In the cities and towns that are home to Chrysler Group offices and dealerships, we strive to be good neighbors," said LaSorda. "Through these donations, we hope we can inspire young people to embrace science and math, and possibly pursue careers in the automotive industry."

"Discovery Science Center is honored to accept this generous gift from the Chrysler Group," said David Rofsky, Chairman of the Board, Discovery Science Center and Senior Vice President, Bank of America. "Corporate support is crucial to Discovery Science Center's mission of educating young minds and assisting teachers. This type of support is the very reason we can continue to provide quality education programs to students and their families, while providing educators with added training and tools they need to teach."

More than four million consumers have been invited to the first "Premiere Night" event being held at more than 2,100 dealerships across the country. The April 22 event will be followed by two "Premiere Days" of public celebration when consumers are invited to visit their local participating to Chrysler Dealership.

The Dodge "Premiere Night" will be held on June 17, and the Jeep "Premiere Night" will take place in the fall.
