A KB RACING SHOWDOWN IN TEXAS
Anderson, Line Draw at the Tree
Baytown, Texas – (April 19, 2004) Chicago Pneumatic (CP), manufacturer of
high quality automotive, construction and industrial tools and Greg Anderson
pulled the trigger on the competition for the fourth time this season at the 17th
annual O’Reilly Spring Nationals presented by Pennzoil at Houston Raceway Park.
KB Racing teammates Greg Anderson and Jason Line turbo-ed their way to the
final round on Sunday.
Anderson and his Vegas General Grand Am challenged Line and his KB Framers
Grand Am right off the line.
Both reaction times were similar, but Line experienced problems at the
60-foot mark that forced him to lift out of the throttle.
Anderson powered his way to the win light with a 6.73/205.57 mph run.
The win took Anderson to his fourth NHRA Winner’s Circle in five races.
You too can “Pull the Trigger.” Air and power tool demonstrations will
be held at every NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series event in 2004.
