Anderson, Bernstein Have Perfect Weekend
 
Baytown, Texas – (April 19, 2004) Four Ringers Gloves drivers advanced to the 
final round at the 17th annual O’Reilly Spring Nationals presented by 
Pennzoil at Houston Raceway Park on Sunday.

   Pro Stock saw KB Racing teammates Greg Anderson and Jason Line battle 
together for the first time in finals in 2004.

   Anderson and Line both left the line at the same time, but Line struggled 
with his car veering toward the wall and had to let out of the throttle.

   Anderson (6.73/205.57 mph) took his Vegas General Grand Am to its fourth 
Winner’s Circle in five races.

   He now has a dominating 156-point lead over Kurt Johnson in POWERade Pro 
Stock Championship points.

   In Top Fuel, Brandon Bernstein also had a perfect weekend.

   Bernstein received the Low Qualifier trophy on Saturday, beat out Clay 
Millican in the final round on Sunday and earned the most points a driver could 
earn in a weekend with 188 points.

   Millican beat Bernstein off the line, but Millican was plagued with tire 
spin.  Bernstein held onto the win with 4.695/271.79 mph run.

   The win made Bernstein 5-0 in final rounds in only 13 Top Fuel starts.
