Tifton Aluminum Recognized with Toyota Quality Award

DELHI, La.--April 19, 2004--Alcoa Engineered Products announced today that its Tifton Aluminum Inc. subsidiary located in Delhi, Louisiana was the recipient of a Multi-Year Achievement Award from Toyota Motor North America, Inc. for consistent quality performance for its work on the Sequoia and Tundra vehicles. It is the fifth year in a row Tifton has been honored for outstanding quality by the Japanese automaker. The Delhi plant extrudes and fabricates running boards for the Sequoia SUV and Tundra truck and ships directly to Toyota's plant in Indiana.

"Delhi employees are to be commended for their resolve to ensure we deliver products to our customer's satisfaction."

Delhi was also the supplier of bumper reinforcements for the Toyota Avalon.
