Federal-Mogul Names Sherbin Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary
SOUTHFIELD, Mich., April 19 -- Chip McClure, chief executive officer and president, announced today the appointment of David M. Sherbin to the post of Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary for Federal-Mogul Corporation (BULLETIN BOARD: FDMLQ) . Sherbin will assume overall responsibility for the legal and compliance affairs of Federal- Mogul.

Since 2001, Sherbin served as vice president, deputy general counsel and secretary for Federal-Mogul and was just recently appointed as corporate compliance officer. He joined the company in 1997 as associate general counsel assuming the additional responsibilities of secretary in 1999. In 2000, he was appointed deputy general counsel. Prior to joining Federal- Mogul, Sherbin held senior legal posts with Heller Financial, Inc. and Katten Muchin & Zavis in Chicago.
Sherbin earned his bachelor's degree from Oberlin College in Ohio and a juris doctorate from Cornell Law School in New York.
