TRANSMISSION FAILURE SIDELINES SCARALLO IN FINAL PRACTICE

LONG BEACH, Calif. (April 17, 2004) Joey Scarallo, driver of the No. 6 ROH
Wheels/Group A/Autotrend/Toyo Tires Chevrolet Corvette, took to the track
again today in third round Trans-Am practice for the Toyota Grand Prix of
Long Beach.

Completing three laps, Scarallo learned that the third time is not always a
charm.

³Second gear broke in the gearbox,² said Scarallo. ³The gearbox is two
seasons old, but is badly designed.

³My Baucom Motorsports team will fix it tonight, so we will be ready to run
in tomorrow¹s race,² added Scarallo, who will roll off 14th for Sunday¹s
event. ³The race should be interesting because the field is so mixed with
different speeds and experience levels. A lot of fast guys will be coming
from the back to the front, so it should be a great show.²

The oldest of four siblings, Scarallo, 25, lives in Smithtown, N.Y. Scarallo
manages Autotrend Tire and Wheel Company Inc., his family¹s wheel importing
business in Lindenhurst, N.Y.

Scarallo will compete in the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach scheduled for
Sunday at 3:45 p.m. PDT, immediately following the Champ Car World Series
Race.
