MOPAR'S DARRELL COX RACING GEARED UP FOR MOROSO RUN

Center Line, Mich. - Darrell Cox Racing has already made a splash on the West
Coast in the NHRA Sport Compact Series racing scene this season. Now, as the
Mopar-sponsored team moves into competition this weekend in the BFGoodrich
Tires NHRA Sport Compact Nationals at Moroso Motorsports Park, drivers Mike
Crawford and Scott Mohler are poised to jump in with both feet on the East Coast
this weekend.

Crawford, who comes into the event fresh off a Hot Rod division win in the
season-opener at California Speedway, is geared to set a record this weekend.
The team has tested consistently since their early-season win, and their Dodge
SRT-4 has been running record times in the 1/8-mile. The veteran driver will
look to improve on his personal best time and speed combination, which stands at
8.53 seconds and 170.10 mph to date.

"We've tested five times since we won in Fontana," team owner and engine bu
ilder Darrell Cox said. "Essentially, we've tested every week, twice a week
since the win. Mike's been running record times in the 1/8-mile, and we believe
we're going to be really good this weekend."

Cox is also confident that his other team member will perform well this
weekend in the All Motor division. Mohler's car has been prepared for the event
using the same engine that earned the team a class record (10.056 seconds and
135.89 mph) at Englishtown, N.J., last season. They've also added a new airbox to
improve the induction into Mohler's Dodge Neon. Mohler, the All Motor speed
record holder, is poised to set new records this weekend, and the team hopes
that the engine can repeat history.

"We've put the engine that set the record last year at Englishtown back in
for this weekend's race," Cox said. "With this Mopar engine and the new airbox
we've added, we'd like to set a new record and take the win. We're confident
that we'll be strong for this weekend."

No matter the outcome of this weekend's events, Mohler has reason to
celebrate. He and his wife, Jill, welcomed the birth of their daughter, Emily Maitlyn,
over the holiday weekend. Emily is the couple's second daughter.

Mopar is based in Center Line, Mich., and is the exclusive original equipment
supplier of parts for Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep® vehicles.
