NASCAR and AMA Press Conferences at Infineon Raceway

Kawasaki AMA Superbike Showdown and 

NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Media Opportunities

 

You are invited to Infineon Raceway for two media opportunities, one
previewing the Kawasaki AMA Superbike Showdown weekend, April 30-May 2,
and the other for the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series. Select NASCAR drivers
will be at Infineon Raceway April 27-28 for a test session in advance of
the Dodge/Save Mart 350, June 25-27.

 

AMA MEDIA OPPORTUNITY: Wednesday, April 28, 11:30 a.m. press conference
in the Infineon Raceway Media Center.

 

AMA ATTENDEES: Ben Bostrom, Honda; Tony Meiring, Attack Kawasaki; Eric
Bostrom, Austin Ducati; Ben Spies, Yoshimura Suzuki.

 

VISUAL ELEMENT: Prior to the AMA press conference, there will be a
motorcycle skills competition between Tony Meiring of Attack Kawasaki
and California Highway Patrol motorcycle units on a pre-designed course
behind the main grandstand. This will begin at 11 a.m.

 

 

NASCAR MEDIA OPPORTUNITY: Wednesday, April 28, some time between noon-1
p.m. along pit road.

 

NASCAR ATTENDEES: Jamie McMurray, driver of the No. 42 Texaco Havoline
Dodge; Bobby Labonte, driver of the No. 18 Interstate Batteries
Chevrolet; and Ricky Rudd, driver of the No. 21 Motorcraft Ford. Other
NASCAR drivers attending the two-day test session are Kyle Petty, Scott
Riggs, Casey Mears, Kasey Kahne, Scott Pruett and Klaus Graf.

 

NOTE: The lunch break will be the only time during the two-day test that
NASCAR drivers will be available for media interviews.
