Sika Automotive Introduces the 'Super Baffle'

MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich., April 15 -- Sika Automotive introduces a new design for SikaBaffle(R) 240 -- the "Super Baffle." Using Sika's patented design, engineers have taken a novel approach in creating a baffle that can be virtually any size to replace multiple baffles in one location, which can reduce manpower while maintaining the material footprint on the plant floor.

SikaBaffle 240 is a patented, injection molded sealant material used to block noise, water, air and dust from entering the automobile passenger compartment. With its engineered three-dimensional design, SikaBaffle(R) 240 is ideal for sealing complicated cavities, can be designed with or without a nylon or metal carrier and its thickness can vary to seal a cavity and address acoustical concerns.
