Clean Energy and ALT Terminate Acquisition

SEAL BEACH, Calif.--April 12, 2004--Clean Energy, North America's leader in clean transportation, and Applied LNG Technologies USA, LLC (ALT), have terminated the acquisition by Clean Energy of ALT's LNG supply and distribution operations and certain of its affiliates due to a condition of closing that could not be met. Clean Energy has expressed interest in resuming the transaction when the condition can be met.
