NEW HAMPSHIRE'S RIVERSIDE SPEEDWAY JOINS
ASA MEMBER TRACK/LEVEL TWO PROGRAM
PENDLETON, Ind. (April 9, 2004) - New Hampshire's Riverside Speedway, located in
Groveton, has signed an agreement with the American Speed Association Member
Track/Level Two program for the 2004 season. Riverside is the first track from New
Hampshire to join the rapidly expanding Member Track program.
"It's fantastic being the initial track from the New England area to join the ASA Member
Track program," said C.J. Robinson, owner of Riverside Speedway. To be directly
involved with ASA's Northeastern expansion is awesome. We look forward to a
successful relationship this year and a promising future."
Riverside Speedway is located in the northern part of New Hampshire and offers several
different racing classes with regular events on Saturday nights from May through
October. Featured divisions include: Pat's Auto Sales Street Stocks, Riverside Super
Stocks, Tiger-Sportsman, North Country Dwarf Cars, Currier Family Dealerships Late
Models and Enduro Cars.
"Riverside Speedway adds a whole new exciting dimension for the ASA Member
Track/Level Two program, which opens an entirely new era in New England
motorsports," said Dennis Huth, ASA Member Tracks national director. "This program
links the ASA name with some of the best short tracks in America and Riverside
Speedway fits that bill perfectly."
The ASA Member Track program is designed for weekly short track venues to make
available many of the policies, principles, procedures and components that have made
the American Speed Association a premier short track sanctioning body for 37 years.
Level Two tracks joins a select group of elite tracks displaying the ASA Member Track
logo, but are not eligible for the point fund contributions and marketing programs
affording Level One ASA Member Tracks.
ASA Member Tracks showcase exciting competition with their local racing programs,
providing training grounds for the ASA Racing stars of tomorrow. Through the ASA
Member Track program, We Build Champions.
The American Speed Association offers racing on several levels: ASA National Tour,
ASA Late Model Series, several regional series, and through the rapidly expanding ASA
Member Track program.
