Stremme, TRIMSPA X32 Dodge No Rookie at Nashville

Lebanon, Tenn. (April 6, 2004) – David Stremme may experience a little de ja
vous when he straps into the X32 TRIMSPA Dodge to race at the Nashville
Superspeedway this weekend. For only the second time this season, Stremme will race
at a track where he actually has a previous Busch Series start. In fact, this
weekend’s Pepsi 300 marks one year since David Stremme made his Busch Series
debut.

“It is hard to believe it’s been a year since I started racing in the Busch
Series,” said Stremme, a South Bend (Ind.) native. “I believe I have made a
respectable start to my career. There are other drivers that have driven for
years before earning this many top five’s, top 10’s. I have been very
fortunate, but the goal is to win races and compete for a points championship. That’s
where my focus is right now.”

Stremme, and Team TRIMSPA have been right on target to do just that, however
they have fought misfortune the past two weekends with a wreck at Bristol and
a flat tire at Texas. They travel to Nashville Superspeedway this weekend
looking to get back on track in the first Busch stand-alone event of the season.
For Stremme, there is reason to be optimistic. Stremme finished an impressive
seventh at Nashville Superspeedway in his career-first Busch Series race. When
he returned to the 1.33-mile oval for the second Busch event later that
season, Stremme brought home a then career-best third-place finish.

“We race on so many different tracks that are each unique and challenging, it
is impossible to say which is my favorite,” explained Stremme. “But
Nashville is by far the track where I feel the most comfortable. I have probably
logged more laps there than any other place, between tests for Ganassi and
competing there twice last season.”

Braun Racing will bring the X32 TRIMSPA Dodge nicknamed “Longhorn” to the
track this weekend. “Longhorn” has been driven to a third-place finish in Las
Vegas, an outside pole in Rockingham, and a fifth-place finish at Darlington
all in 2004.

Stremme and Team TRIMSPA will look to be back on top when the Busch Series
visits Nashville Superspeedway this weekend. The race will be televised live,
April 10, at 3 p.m. eastern time on FX and will broadcast nationally at that
same time on radio stations affiliated with Motor Racing Network (MRN) and XM
Satellite Radio Channel 144.
