Mitsubishi Electric Automotive America Receives General Motors Supplier of the Year Award; Company's Maysville, Ky., Plant Earns Award for Fifth Straight Year
NORTHVILLE TOWNSHIP, Mich.--April 6, 2004--Mitsubishi Electric Automotive America, Inc. (MEAA) has received the 2003 General Motors (GM) Supplier of the Year award for its business performance for the fifth consecutive year. The award was presented at a ceremony on Saturday, April 3, 2004, in Prague at the Hilton Prague Hotel's Congress Hall.MEAA supplies ignition coil modules from its Maysville, Ky., plant for engines used in GM trucks worldwide. It is one of only 77 suppliers to receive the award. Winners are chosen for excellence in quality, service, technology and price.
