Flexpoint Sensor Systems to Aggressively Pursue Patented Applications
DRAPER, Utah--April 6, 2004--Flexpoint Sensor Systems, Inc. (Pink Sheets:FLXT) today announced plans to commercialize and market the patented automotive applications of the Bend Sensor(R) technology. The company presently owns nine United States patents based on enhancements and new applications.Of the portfolio of patents, six relate to specific uses of the sensor technology in the automotive industry. The company will work in conjunction with global suppliers in the industry who could benefit from the Bend Sensor's proven ability. Protected uses include; a system for measuring parameters related to automobile seats, impact detection, and horn controls.
