Mitsubishi Electric & Electronics USA Names EVP of Strategic Planning
CYPRESS, Calif.--March 31, 2004--Mitsubishi Electric & Electronics USA Inc. has named Kiyoshi Furukawa as executive vice president of corporate strategic planning effective April 1, 2004.Furukawa previously was vice president of NEC-Mitsubishi Electronics Display of America Inc., a joint venture of NEC Technologies and Mitsubishi Electronics America. Furukawa has been with Mitsubishi Electric since 1980, and was director of strategic planning for Mitsubishi Electric USA's information technologies group before the 2000 NEC-Mitsubishi merger.
