Craig Stanton To Start Second In Homestead Endurance Event

HOMESTEAD, FLA., March 27, 2004 - Craig Stanton's sports car hot streak
in Florida continues. The Long Beach, California-resident qualified the
No. 44 TheRaceSite.com Racing Porsche 996 second for tomorrow's Grand-Am
Cup 250 here at Homestead-Miami Speedway (HMS). Turning a time of one
minute, 28.764 seconds, Stanton placed his Porsche on the outside of the
front row for the three-hour Grand-Am Cup endurance event scheduled to
start at 12:30 pm (EST). Stanton, part of a three car team that
qualified second, fourth and eleventh, will co-drive with Gainesville,
Georgia's Terry Borcheller. Stanton and Borcheller teamed at Daytona
International Speedway in January to win the season opening Grand-Am Cup
event in the No. 44 Porsche.

Craig Stanton: "The guys have been working great all day. They look good
with their new uniforms and matching cars. The starting spots show how
good they are at preparing cars. Terry and I are very optimistic for
tomorrow's race and so are the Nonnamakers. I feel like I have a great
race car. Terry and I have been hooking on it with the guys in the 44
car all day. We made a setup change just before qualifying and it made a
great improvement. Everyone on the team did real well today. I'm going
to head out of here, get a good night sleep and come back tomorrow ready
to race. Terry and I are working really well together and I'm very, very
excited to be back with the Nonnamakers in TheRaceSite.com Porsche this
weekend."

Since moving from moto-cross/super-cross to automobiles in 1986, Stanton
has positioned himself as one of the premier drivers in sports car
racing. A desire to win in all kinds of machines has led to drives in
closed and open cockpit sports cars, sedans, NASCAR stock cars, open
wheel formula cars and midgets and in off-road competition. He has won
three championships and a Driver of the Year award in Sports Renault and
is the 1997 Speedvision Cup Rising Star Award winner. Stanton began
competing in the top echelon of sports car racing in 1999 and has class
wins in both the Grand-Am and ALMS. He takes his fitness training very
seriously with the goal of being the fittest race driver in the world
and has competed in 27 triathlons in his career. For more on Craig
