EDISON LlUCH BRINGS PUERTO RICO TO AGT
Wilton, CT March 24, 2004; Edison Lluch will compete in the American GT Challenge series in 2004. Lluch, from Puerto Rico, will bring his El Tuque/Don Q Rum Corvette to AGT. Edison will launch his AGT career at the season opening round at South Carolina Motorsports Park April 11th.
Lluch is a veteran of gt competiton, first entering the scene in 1985 in the GTU class. Throughout his career Edison has earned several championship. Lluch was the 1986 and 1990 Dominico Boricua GT Champion. Along with that accomplishment Edison was the Puerto Rico CCCPR Champion from 1993 through 1995. Lluch achieved the 3 Hours of Puerto Rico Championship for 1987, 1991 and 1994.
Edison looks forward to the 2004 AGT season and bringing an international flavor to the series. The AGT inaugural season will now see competitors from the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico and another yet to be announced island country.

The American GT Challenge will open its inaugural season at South Carolina Motorsports Park in Kershaw, South Carolina April 10 through 11th. The American GT Challenge uses purpose built tube frame chassis cars, power by a V-8 & V-6 engine, with composite bodies, replicating series produced American touring or grand touring cars.
