Dtomi Adds Experienced Marketing and Sales Veteran to Management Team; Andrew Bodenheimer Joins Dtomi as Vice President of Sales and Marketing
SAFETY HARBOR, Fla.--March 24, 2004--Dtomi, Inc., a Nevada corporation ("Dtomi") (OTCBB:DTOI), has hired Andrew Bodenheimer as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Bodenheimer joined Dtomi on March 1, 2004.Bodenheimer has more than 17 years of business development, operations, sales and marketing experience. His experience includes start-up businesses as well as leadership positions in the transportation industry. Bodenheimer has demonstrated tactical leadership managing successful product launches, and leading sales teams in a variety of highly competitive markets.
At Power Solutions, a manufacturer of intermodal diesel generator sets, Bodenheimer established and managed multi-state direct sales offices and an international distributor network, successfully competing against Fortune 100 industry-leaders Westinghouse and United Technologies. Customers included Chiquita Banana, Quality Distribution, Transamerica Leasing and TIP Trailer Rental, as well as numerous domestic and international intermodal transportation companies.
He also established vendor leasing and finance programs that significantly enhanced global distribution; growing international sales to 20 percent of total revenue. Most recently, Bodenheimer operated a business consulting firm providing financial, tactical sales, and market analysis to manufacturing, information technology, and logistic clients.
Bodenheimer will direct all the sales and marketing activities for the Air Spring Axle(TM), including completing the launch and driving subsequent business growth. The Air Spring Axle(TM) is an innovative, patented suspension for small and medium sized trailers that not only provides the benefits of an air suspension, but can be lowered to ground level to simplify loading and unloading. Market launch is scheduled for mid-2004.
"I was attracted to the Air Spring Axle because the design is innovative, robust, simple to understand, and scaleable across the light trailer market," said Bodenheimer. "This product answers a definite market opportunity, and working with a dynamic CEO like John Haddock made my decision even easier."
"I'm extremely pleased to have someone of Andrew's experience on board," Haddock said. "In addition to excellent sales and marketing credentials he brings broad business management experience and, just as importantly, a very high level of energy and enthusiasm. Andrew will make a huge impact on our ability to penetrate both the rental market and persuade trailer manufacturers to embrace the Air Spring Axle(TM).
