Panasonic's New On-board Car TVs to Feature Terrestrial Digital Broadcasting Port

Tokyo March 24, 2004; JCNN rteported that Matsushita Electric Industrial will release April 9 a new lineup of car LCD color TVs.

The VIGIN Series includes two wide-screen models that feature the industry's first terrestrial digital broadcasting interface, and three secondary monitors that can be mounted in the backseat.

Available screen sizes are 7V, 9V and 11V-inch. Prices start at 59,500 yen ($556). The company will produce a total of 10,000 units per month.
