Redline Performance Products Begins Shipping Snowmobiles

SAN DIEGO & MINNEAPOLIS--March 23, 2004--Redline Performance Products, Inc. ("Redline(TM)" or "the Company") (AMEX:RED) today announced that it has begun shipping an early release of the 2005 800 Revolt snowmobile to its dealers. Redline intends to ship 600-700 of the 800 Revolts to dealers during the snowmobile industry's annual spring sales period, supported by Redline's 1st Brigade spring sales program.

"Our decision last fall to have an early release of a limited number of 2005 model snowmobiles this season has given us the time to refine our product and our manufacturing processes. The result is a product that we can all be proud of," says Mark Payne, President and Chief Financial Officer of Redline. "Dealers have been riding the sleds and some existing Redline dealers have increased their purchase orders."

The trade publication MaximumSled.com recently published a favorable review of the 800 Revolt, based on a test ride taken in Thief River Falls, Minn., in early March. The editor described the ride quality as "very impressive" and wrote, "The handling was very precise and it carved around corners with relative ease." He also described the 800 Revolt's suspension as "awesome" and called the chassis "a design breakthrough in the snowmobile industry." The full article may be found on the MaximumSled.com web site at www.maximumsled.com.

D&D Racing also recently had the opportunity to ride the new Redline 800 Revolt snowmobile. D&D is one of the most respected aftermarket performance specialists in the snowmobile industry today, and a Redline dealer. Regarding their ride experience they said, "We tested for two days and came away really impressed with the way this new Redline handles." And also, "The first time you ride this new Redline it will feel like no other sled." The review may be found on the D&D Racing web site at www.ddracing.com.

In keeping with common practice in the snowmobile industry, Redline has launched a retail incentive program to reward purchasers who make a decision to purchase an 800 Revolt this spring. Under the 1st Brigade program, the first 500 purchasers will become members of the Redline Owners Club (R.O.C.). These initial R.O.C. members will receive a limited-edition Redline snowmobile suit, priority sled delivery, the opportunity for interaction with Redline's design and engineering team, and a lifetime membership in the R.O.C. (See the R.O.C. web site at www.redlineownersclub.com).
